Maine SAC Wins Award

The Maine SAC was awarded this year’s Douglas Yearwood National Publication Award at the recent 2017 National Forum on Criminal Justice held in Long Beach, CA for Unsealed Fate: The Unintended Consequences of Inadequate Safeguarding of Juvenile Records in Maine. The report was written by Susy Hawes, Erica King, Mara Sanchez, and George Shaler. The publication was one of
just four reports recognized at the Forum.

Jeff Sedgwick, JRSA’s Executive Director made the following remarks about the report:
